Bibles For Belmarsh – Success

At the end of summer last year we, as a St. Michael’s family, raised funds to buy Dyslexia Friendly Bibles & Gospels to donate to Belmarsh Prison. Belmarsh Prison Chaplaincy were very thankful and have asked us to share this wonderful update with you…

The Dyslexia Friendly Bibles are being well used and around 10 prisoners use and study them on a regular occasion.

There is one prisoner who said he is severely dyslexic and until now could not read a bible, but with these versions he can. He has become an avid reader and it has had a profound effect. Even the prison governors have noticed the difference in this man. His family and other prisoners say the same and that it is a remarkable transformation.
