Christmas

Christmas at St. Michael’s in Blackheath is such a special time of year. Come and join us to celebrate the birth of Jesus, support one another and rejoice in the Advent season.

For 2025, along with The Church of England, we will be spreading the JOY of Christmas. The great joy of Christmas, of course, is the good news the angel declared to the shepherds – the news of Jesus’ birth as Emmanuel (God With Us).

There are several Christmas events at St. Michael’s, so put them in your diary now!

Come visit our Advent Fair!

It’s officially time to start thinking about the Christmas season! Get prepared with yummy treats and gifts at our St. Michael’s Advent Fair…

Saturday 29th November 2025  in our Church Hall 2:30pm – 5:30pm there will be cakes, jams, stalls and bric-a-brac galore…

10:30am On Sunday 7th December during our All Age Grace Aloud Service we will be collecting toys for children visitors to Belmarsh Prison.

We will be collecting brand new toys to spread the joy of Jesus’ love to those who may not feel his light this Christmas.

(Please no toys with batteries or those of a emergency services/military theme.)
