We partner with five organisations which really speak to our sense of mission to make Christ known in the world through word and action.

This means that we pray for them regularly and give them 10% of our regular financial offering. Find out more about them below:

Church Mission Society

With Jesus. With each other. To the edges.

St Michael’s has supported the Church Mission Society (CMS) since the church was built in 1829. CMS is committed to evangelistic mission, renewal of the Church and transformation of unjust structures of society. St Michael’s is currently linked with CMS mission partner Alison Giblett, who is involved in church planting and working with people suffering from addictions in Ukraine.

Bible Society

The Bible is for Everyone

More than 200 years ago people who believed passionately that the Bible had something to say for the whole of humanity founded Bible Society.

Bible Society exists because millions of people lack the Bible in a language they can understand, in a form they can use, or at a price they can afford. The Society calls this Bible poverty. The vision of Bible Society is to see a day when the Bible’s God-given revelation shapes the lives of people and communities everywhere.

OMF International

Making Jesus known in all his fullness to East Asia’s billions

OMF (Overseas Missionary Fellowship) is a Christian mission agency that serves the church and seeks to bring the gospel to the people of East Asia. The Gelsthorpes run a small church plant in rural, northern Japan where they share the gospel through English teaching, children’s ministry and community cafes. Please pray that God will open the hearts of many people in Japan to believe the gospel and be saved.

Seeing young people’s lives changed by Jesus

Greenwich Youth for Christ is a charity that has been supporting young people in and around the Borough since 1995. We do this in a practical and relevant way, through our work in schools, churches, and in partnerships with other community organisations. We believe everyone is created uniquely. We work to support young people overcome the challenges they face, make good choices and reach their potential.

Crosslinks

Crosslinks strives to serve the local church as it takes the gospel to the nations

Crosslinks exists to enable local churches and their members to take part in God’s mission. At any one time, Crosslinks will have more than a hundred or so mission partners serving long-term overseas in more than 30 countries, as well as enabling short-term ministry placements. They also support indigenous gospel projects as well as enabling the training of pastor/teachers and evangelists in less well-off countries.
