Potential ‘Scam’ Emails at St. M’s

Over the past couple of weeks we have been alerted to some fraudulent emails supposedly coming from our Vicar at St. Michaels, Trevor. 

This is not a hacking incident, but an individual/group who scan websites for email addresses to try and trick recipients into giving money or vouchers.

If you receive any such communication in the coming weeks, please report as spam and if possible send across to us at St. Michael’s to log. Please do not reply to that email.

Unfortunately online fraud is still on the rise, so please do be vigilant whenever asked for anything over email.
