Youth

St Michael’s has a strong history of youth work which continues to this day and tries to offer something for everyone, so take a look at what’s going on!

Midweek – Older Guys and Girls

If you are year 10 and up then you might want to join us for a coffee (or a hot drink of your choice) in Costa in Blackheath village. Here you will find us catching up, sharing life together and supporting each other. We also prepare to lead sessions for the younger guys and girls groups, giving us a chance to use our experiences to help others. Guys meet on a Tuesday and girls meet on a Wednesday.

Midweek – Younger Guys and Girls

Years 7-9 meet on a Wednesday. Here we start in our groups separately as girls and guys with the older ones there to inspire us and disciple us. It is a safe space to be ourselves, ask questions and explore our faith. After this we all get together for fun, games and pizza.

Saints Youth Café

This is both a safe space for year 7-9’s to be together, have fun and hang out on a Friday night and a great place for young people year 10-13’s to volunteer and develop their leadership skills. Join us for Just Dance, table football, computer games, ice-cream milkshakes and more on Fridays in the vestry. Please contact our youth minister Lauren for more information.

Please contact the Church Office for all information as we will be advertising for a new Youth Minister in Autumn 2023.
